On Wednesday, gold rates in Pakistan experienced a resurgence, witnessing a substantial increase of Rs2,900 per tola for 24-karat gold, reaching Rs244,100.
Today’s gold market in Pakistan saw a noteworthy rise, particularly in 24-karat gold, which surged by Rs2,900 per tola, totaling Rs244,100.
Notably, the current gold price stands Rs3,000 below its true market value, a decision made in consideration of diminishing purchasing power, as highlighted by the association.
The association emphasized that, in response to the considerable decline in purchasing power, the price of gold has been deliberately maintained Rs3,000 below its actual value for today.
In a significant market development, the price of 24-karat gold in Pakistan climbed by Rs2,900 per tola on Wednesday, settling at Rs244,100, despite being kept Rs3,000 lower than its intrinsic cost.
In response to prevailing economic conditions, today’s gold price reflects a deliberate adjustment, with 24-karat gold experiencing a notable surge of Rs2,900 per tola to reach Rs244,100.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,487, reaching Rs209,191 per 10 grams.
Likewise, 22-karat gold was priced higher at Rs191,758 per 10 grams, as reported by the Karachi Sarafa Association.
Meanwhile, silver rates remained steady in the local market, with 24-karat silver selling at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,271.94 per 10 grams.
Globally, spot gold prices were trading around $2,369.18 per ounce, marking a 0.47% increase for the day.
The Karachi Sarafa Association noted a Rs2,487 increase in the price of 24-karat gold, now standing at Rs209,191 per 10 grams.
In line with this, 22-karat gold was priced higher at Rs191,758 per 10 grams, according to the latest report from the Karachi Sarafa Association.
In domestic markets, silver prices remained steady, with 24-karat silver maintaining its rate at Rs2,650 per tola and Rs2,271.94 per 10 grams.
Internationally, spot gold traded near $2,369.18 an ounce, reflecting a 0.47% uptick in its value.
