Gold prices in Pakistan went down on Wednesday. The cost of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs800 per tola to reach Rs239,200. Last week, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs6,400 per tola. This means that over the past two weeks, there has been a total loss of Rs14,200 per tola, which is about 5.63%.
The Karachi Sarafa Association said that the price of 24-karat gold for 10 grams is now Rs205,075, which is Rs686 less than the previous day. Also, the price of 22-karat gold is now Rs187,986 for 10 grams, lower than before.
In the local market, the price of silver stayed the same. 24-karat silver is being sold at Rs2,620 per tola and Rs2,254.8 per 10 grams.
Internationally, the price of gold was around $2,311.76 per ounce, which is down by 0.10% compared to the previous closing price.
